Katie Romano is a photographer working in Lexington, Kentucky who specializes in portraits and the outdoors.

I started by picking up a camera to capture my own adventures - rock climbing, road trips, hiking, and camping with friends. As I learned how to work my camera and treasured the memories I’d captured, I realized that this is something I was passionate about and wanted extend out to the community. That’s how Sugar Maple Photo was born - tied to nature, adventure, and those we love most.

From capturing weddings, outdoor adventures, and your family and friends, I’d be honored to work with you. My favorite thing is capturing moments when people are genuinely themselves - laughing with your best friends, when a groom sees his bride walk down the aisle, and the peace and awe of being out in nature.
